Volunteer Update
Hi Awesome Volunteers!
Thank you to everyone who helped table at the high school during the MESMS musical last weekend! It was a great success for disseminating information and directing people to our website.
The next few weeks will be all-hands-on-deck, starting with needs as early as tonight (Thursday)!
*TONIGHT* Candidates’ Night, South Hadley Public Library
The local nonpartisan group, Know Your Town, sponsors a Candidates’ Night for residents to hear from all candidates for the upcoming local election on April 14th. Save South Hadley will have one of the tables in the lobby of the library to hand out information TONIGHT (Thursday), similar to the process at the high school last weekend. Only 4-6 people are needed.
Get a Yard Sign
We’re looking for as many people as possible to have a yard sign as soon as they are available, especially if you live on a high traffic street.
School Committee Meeting, South Hadley Senior Center
We are looking for two people to table next Wednesday, 3/25, at the Senior Center ahead of and during the first part of the School Committee meeting, 6:30-7:30pm. Tabling must be done outside of the meeting room, and no materials may be left at the Senior Center at the end of the night.
Training for Virtual Canvassing
Join us at the Boathouse Restaurant on Thursday, 3/26, from 6:00-8:00pm to learn all about virtual canvassing. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided! Tabling at the Senior Center
This is a critical, ongoing need from now through Election Day. Sign up to table at the South Hadley Senior Center on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00am-12:00pm to share information about the budget crisis, as well as information on tax relief. There are MANY opportunities to help.
