Volunteer Call to Action
Thank you for your interest in and support of the Save South Hadley campaign. This update is packed with ways to get involved, upcoming events, and important campaign information as we build momentum together.
Hello Save South Hadley Team,
For all volunteer events, you will be provided with information to share with fellow community members. It’s okay if you do not have every answer right away. The handouts point residents to town resources and the Save South Hadley website, so the most important thing is sharing why you support the override and helping neighbors get connected.
If you want to help broaden the reach, please consider sharing these volunteer opportunities on your own social media and tagging @savesouthhadley on Facebook and Instagram.
Ways You Can Help Right Now
Informational Tabling at South Hadley High School
Join us in the high school lobby from March 12–15 during the MESMS musical. Sign-up slots are in 1.5-hour increments, and if you can stay longer, you are encouraged to sign up for multiple slots.
A member of the campaign will bring the table banner and printed information for you to share with community members.
Sign Up for TablingNeighborhood Canvassing Every Saturday
Canvassing is one of the best ways to have one-on-one conversations with residents. The Massachusetts Teachers Association is helping lead this effort alongside the Save South Hadley campaign.
Training will be provided, and first-time volunteers can walk with an experienced canvasser. No one walks alone.

Record a short video about your love of South Hadley and why you support the override. Videos will be shared by the communications team on social media, in emails, and on the website over the coming weeks.
Please include your full name and, if possible, mention that Election Day is April 14 and that you are voting YES.
Upload Your VideoHost a Gathering
Small gatherings of friends and neighbors are an effective way to share information, answer questions, and help more residents understand what is at stake.
If you are interested in hosting a gathering at your home, please contact Andrea Miles directly at aga6@cornell.edu.

- Consider writing letters to the editor in local papers to share your support for the override.
